Therefore Data is crucial. As a Data Engineer, you will play a decisive role in designing, developing, and deploying data architecture to serve Personalization algorithms. And this will have a direct impact on our performance, personalization being a significant driver of retention.

We're a Ninja Team of 20 people, only A player. You'll work closely with Backend but also Product and Content, no silos, one focus : ensure that each mom feels supported thanks to personalized guidance.

Role
- Design and Develop Data Infrastructure : Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data architecture to support WeMoms' personalization initiatives; Implement data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing both structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with Data Scientist : Work closely with our Data Scientist to provide the necessary data infrastructure and tools for model development and deployment; implement data transformations and aggregations to support machine learning model training and inference.
- Data Modeling and Optimization : Design and implement data models to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data for analytical purposes; optimize data processes and queries for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Data Quality and Governance : Establish and enforce data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data; implement data governance policies to maintain data integrity and security.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data engineering solutions align with business objectives.

Profile
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or machine learning, with a proven track record in personalization and recommender systems
- Strong proficiency in programming languages Python (GO is a plus) and skills in DEVOPS (such as infra as a code)
- Experience with big data technologies, data processing frameworks, and streaming competencies
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and optimization techniques
- Experience with embedding storage/retrieval at scale
- Knowledge of the GCP platform and its data services (Big Query, GKE, Composer)
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions
- Excellent communication skills which help you diffuse knowledge across teams (also non-Tech) and align people to work successfully on their projects
