You will join the Data Analytics team, part of a larger Data team which also includes Data Science, Data Product Management and Product Analytics teams. The Analytics team mission is to grow the business by identifying critical insights and high value opportunities. You'll integrate a fast growing team of +30 passionate individuals tackling challenges of all sorts: from scaling marketing campaign analytics to building complex customer segmentations to predicting the outcome of the next football game.

 

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

 

We are looking for an Analytics Manager to lead our Safer Gaming Analytics team, whose role is to help improve detection and protection of risky gambling, a core topic for Betclic. Working directly with the Safer Gaming department, your analysis will significantly contribute to defining a relevant long-term strategy for the department and to assessing its impact on our players.

 

The Safer Gaming Analytics team being a small team to date, you will be in charge of managing 1 Data Analyst and handling interactions with business stakeholders alongside with the Safer Gaming Data Product Owner. As such, this is a role involving close interactions with business executives and departmental heads, including Betclic's top management.

 

Your responsibilities will be:



    • Help up-skill the Data Analyst of the team, providing hands-on technical and business guidance when needed.

 

    • Ensure high quality of team's insights and output.

 

    • Define the evolution of our analytical strategy on performance analytics and key strategic projects.

 

    • Maintain close relationships with stakeholders from business teams, and our partner teams on the data engineering and data science side.

 

    • Influence the business teams when needed, pushing them to adopt the right KPIs and the right strategy.



WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

 

This job is for you if:



    • You have a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science or equivalent from a top university

 

    • You are proficient in SQL & Python

 

    • You have experience managing and growing Data Analytics teams

 

    • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

    • You are a team player, able to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

 

    • Experience in a gaming industry is a plus



WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?



    • Shall your application be retained, you'll be contacted by Elodie to pass an online technical test & a 30-minutes HR screening

 

    • You'll then be asked to pass the AssessFirst test (drive, fit & reasoning)

 

    • You'll then meet 2 data team members: Xavier - Senior Analytics Manager (and hiring manager) and Iouri - Chief Data Officer

 

    • After that, you'll meet key business stakeholders you would be directly working with

 

    • Finally, Elodie will see you again for a final HR interview during which we'll discuss your AssessFirst test results



In order to provide an optimal applicant experience, the overall hiring process at Betclic lasts 4 to 6 weeks.
