Job Description

The new Ubisoft EMEA Esports Hub is looking for a Brand Manager to strengthen all our esports activities in APAC. The region is home to some of the biggest esports brands, and most exciting narratives ever ? we are looking for a great storyteller who will magnify them!

Your mission will be as follows:

Regional social media

  • Define social media tone of voice, strategy, and guidelines for the respective regional channels
  • Manage the regional SoMe posting calendar and provide subsidiaries with consolidated SoMe posting guidelines/calendar + related assets (global topics + regional topics)
  • Provide live coverage for the regional league playdays as well as assets to subs for local live coverage
  • Support local leagues on the regional accounts
  • Coordinate with UConnect team for news relay - regional topics

Paid Media - Regional Events, Competitions and Leagues

  • Manage budget and investment decisions in paid media
  • Develop 360 digital marketing campaign to drive awareness, reach, acquisition and viewership
  • Manage our audiences alongside performance media buys in collaboration with the Audience, Media & Channels teams
  • Tie our creative strategy to our media plan
  • Align on communication planning, narratives and messaging with the Communications team
  • Develop CRM strategy and implementation in partnership with Ubisoft CRM team

Regional events Live Coverage

  • Live coverage freelancers, Agencies, photographers & videographers management (hiring, contract, negotiation, brief, .....)
  • Regional Live Coverage budget management
  • Coordination of the creation of Live Coverage assets (whether internally or externally) & SoMe calendar
  • Manage Live Coverage creation and posting on the regional accounts
  • Generate post-event global SoMe & Community sentiment reporting

PR - Regional topics (regional leagues, regional finals, corresponding local scenes)

  • Agency Management
  • Define PR objectives for regional activities + Create related Comm strategy with related budget
  • Define Regional communication timeline
  • Create PR materials and handle approval process (press release, media alert, mainstream press kit, email blast, blogposts,...) - for Regional Topics
  • Regional event - On-site interview, press and content creators management (hotel booking, shuttles, press room set up, roadmap for media...)
  • Coordinate Local PR Manager network to ensure coverage on regional topics across corresponding Ubisoft territories (provide press releases, assets, embargo time, Q&As,...)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is/has:

  • An action oriented creative storyteller with a strong experience in creating brand legacies
  • Proven track of project management skills in a complex international environment
  • A resilient master of organization and thoroughness
  • A team player at core with experience in Sports/Entertainment industries (knowledge of esports would be a real asset ð)
  • Perfect fluency in English (written and verbal forms), French is not a requirement
  • Japanese/Korean is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Pack Office
